BAI DINH PAGODA – TRANG AN ECO-TOURISM COMPLEX

Joining the Bai Dinh – Trang An 1 Day Tour, visitors will explore some of the most famous attractions in Ninh Binh, including Bai Dinh Pagoda, well known for its five “records”: the largest bell, the most Arhat statues, the largest pagoda, the biggest Buddha statue, and the largest complex area.

Trang An is an eco-tourism site located within the Trang An World Heritage Complex in Ninh Binh Province. It has been recognized by the Vietnamese Government as a National Special Relic and was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An was once known as the southern citadel of the ancient Hoa Lu capital, now the former capital of Vietnam.

07:00 – 07:30: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point in Hanoi and depart for the Bai Dinh – Trang An 1-day tour (approximately 100 km away). The bus will stop for a 15-minute break in Phu Ly, where you can have breakfast at your own expense.

10:30: Arrival at Bai Dinh Pagoda. From the parking area, you will take an electric car (about 3 km) to the pagoda entrance.
Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, famous for many records: the complex covers 107 hectares, including the Tam The Hall and Phap Chu Hall spanning thousands of square meters. The pagoda houses the largest bronze Buddha statue in Southeast Asia (weighing 100 tons) and three Tam The statues, each weighing 50 tons.
The caves here also feature stunning stalactites comparable to those in Ha Long Bay. Bai Dinh has become a major pilgrimage and tourist destination in Northern Vietnam.

12:00: Lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy local specialties such as crispy rice (com chay) and mountain goat meat.

13:30: After lunch, transfer to Trang An Wharf. Take a boat trip along the stream through rice fields to explore Trang An Eco-tourism Complex, featuring limestone mountains, valleys, and winding rivers that create a magical and mysterious landscape.

On this route, you will visit 4 of the most beautiful natural caves: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, and Dai Cave. You will also stop at 3 spiritual sites: Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, and Vu Lam Royal Steps.
This route is especially suitable for young travelers and photography lovers, offering great opportunities for check-in photos and memorable experiences while exploring Trang An – a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site.

17:00: Board the bus and return to Hanoi.

19:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the Bai Dinh – Trang An 1-day tour.
